The music sculpture was made in collaboration with industrial designer Camilla Handberg, electronics student Sally Mountfield, electronics technician Arne Kloppenborg, and project manager Anette Mørch, in connection with the 50th anniversary of the Danish Library for the Blind (Danmarks Blindebiliotek, renamed to Nota).

Premiered by students of The Royal Danish Academy of Music on March 31, 2004, at the National Gallery of Denmark (Statens Museum for Kunst), on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (Kunstakademiet). A collaborative composition with Pelle Gudmundsen-Holmgreen and Anders Brødsgaard.
